Paschal — formerly NOTDEC Uganda's book-keeper — retired on 30th May 2017. He is shown here turning away from his computer.
He was responsible for entering details of purchases and related expenditure into EasyAccounts - a bespoke accounts software package designed specifically for NOTDEC Uganda. Paschal's knowledge of it was invaluable wheneven visiting NOTDEC UK Trustees wanted to inspect the accounts in detail.
Paschal was very active and an excellent arbitrator, often called to settle disputes that occurred on site. Crucially, he was a senior man in a largely female team and so was a key asset. Paschal was therefore regarded as a father figure by many of the children — a much respected man. He was a very fine role model, particularly for the boys, and was a great help when the older ones had problems.
