Anthony Johnston

Anthony is both NOTDEC UK's Chair and our photographer.  Before COVID he ensured that every sponsor had a new photograph of the child they sponsor, and usually a second showing the child with the sponsor's Christmas present.  But Lockdown followed by the current security situation in Uganda have stopped him popping across to NOTDEC and snapping hundreds of photos each year. Anthony is a retired surgeon, keen gardener, and chicken-keeper providing a wide range of experience that has informed his work for NOTDEC UK.

With his wife Janet, Anthony sponsors NOTDEC Uganda staff salaries rather than individual children.
