Gerald Kirk
For years, Gerald was a Trustee of NOTDEC UK - for many of them its Treasurer. And with 25 years experience running a business comprising two nursing homes with 110 staff and a turnover of £1.5M, Gerald certainly knew the financial ins and outs of residential care. More recently, he stood down as Treasurer but remained responsible for NOTDEC UK's accounts, for banking and money transfers, and for administering Gift Aid and reclaiming tax refunds from HMRC. Gerald was our link with both HMRC and the Charity Commission, jealously guarding our long-standing record of filing accounts when they're due.
Together with his wife Suzanne, Gerald sponsors two children — Sandra and Barbra.
